National Ergonomics Month: State Psychology Teachers Liaison

  • Date Posted:
    • September 24, 2004

  • Description:
    • October is National Ergonomics Month (NEM)-- a time for teaching, learning, networking, service and fun. NEM presents a great opportunity to partner with psychology teachers and promote HF/E to school students. Promotion may take the form of speaker presentations at teacher conferences, school visits, discussions, writing articles for psychology teacher's web sites, media and community service activities. The State psychology Teacher Liaison will establish an ongoing relationship with the psychology teachers in their state and will facilitate NEM for them. The liaison will also secure the help of other HFES members if or when appropriate and will report back to HFES on their accomplishments.
