- October is National Ergonomics Month (NEM)-- a time for teaching, learning, networking, service and fun. NEM is looking for a person with excellent written communication abilities to write (and/or edit) all NEM bulletin articles, letter, and other communications. The NEM editor will write summary reports of NEM for the Directory, Yearbook, and HFES Bulletin. The editor will work with members of HFES to ensure articles are delivered on time. The editor will also be expected to serve on the NEM steering committee and model the way as an NEM Volunteer. The editor will have a diverse team to work with and will need to communicate with them to provide direction and rely upon them for help.
- This is a great way to become active with HFES.
- Number of Positions Available:
- One editor to support the Speakers Bureau.
- Time Commitment:
- Approximately 5 hours a month with an increased commitment leading up to and during the month of October
- Necessary/Needed Skills:
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Good coordination/project management skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse, highly motivated team.
- Ability to speak in front of small and large groups.
